ElevenLabs' Music v2 moves its music product closer to an editable song workflow. A user can plan a track section by section, regenerate selected passages and use inpainting to repair a portion without discarding the rest of the arrangement.
Reference audio adds another control surface. ElevenLabs says the model can take a musical example for style, instrumentation or vocal character, then combine that reference with written instructions.
