Suno's July updates focused on control and everyday creation
Lyrics editing, song length, iMessage access and cover-art iteration arrived across the month — small workflow changes rather than one headline model launch.

Suno shipped a sequence of product updates in July instead of a single major model announcement.
The largest change arrived on 9 July: a redesigned lyrics workspace with a Lyricist assistant, natural-language editing, variations and references, structure labels, full-screen editing and autosave. On 20 July, a duration slider for v5.5 on the web added direct control over requested song length.
Creation moved into more surfaces
Suno added an iMessage keyboard integration on 15 July, allowing people to generate and share songs inside a conversation. Earlier in the month, the mobile app offered custom soccer anthems. The 31 July update added more iteration around cover images and video.
These are workflow and distribution changes: they reduce friction between an idea, an edit and sharing the result. Suno's release notes do not establish that the underlying music became more accurate, nor do they change the rights attached to a user's plan. Those questions still need model testing and a separate reading of the service terms.
