Suno raises "over $400M" — the exact number is the claim, not the fact

The Series D makes Suno the best-funded pure AI-music company. The amount is a party claim; the litigation backdrop is a docket fact.

Suno announced a Series D of "over $400 million" — reported widely as a $400M round, which quietly converts a floor into a figure. Our funding record stores it the way the primary source states it: at least USD 400M, party claim, exact amount not publicly disclosed.

The round lands while UMG Recordings, Capitol and Sony Music Entertainment are still litigating against the company in the District of Massachusetts — Warner exited via settlement and license, with prejudice, in December 2025. Best-funded and most-sued are, for now, the same company.
