Treblo makes Melodia v3 free and unlimited — and releases a detector for its own songs

The former Sonauto is offering its latest consumer model without generation credits or daily caps. The API remains metered, and its open detector is deliberately Treblo-specific.

Trebloeditorial

Sonauto has renamed itself Treblo and put Melodia v3, its latest song model, behind an unusually permissive consumer offer: Treblo says generation is free and unlimited, with no credits or daily cap. That promise applies to the consumer product. The developer API has a separate credit-based price sheet, and its v3 endpoint is still marked preview.

The product accepts a prompt, supplied or generated lyrics, mixed languages and instrumental requests. Treblo advertises 4,160 style tags, section-level inpainting, lyric replacement, extension and remix, stem separation, audio upload, private or unlisted tracks, profiles, groups and playlists. Export options listed by the company are OGG, MP3, WAV, FLAC and M4A; mobile apps are available for iOS and Android.

Rights are a platform claim, not legal clearance

Treblo says users may use generated songs, including songs made on the free service, without a platform-imposed commercial-use restriction. That describes Treblo's contract with its users. It does not establish copyright protection, clear third-party rights or resolve the law in every jurisdiction.

The low price of trying the system also does not remove model risk. Treblo's own developer documentation warns that the v3 preview can sometimes produce lower-quality results than v2. Pronunciation, endings, introductions and stem quality therefore remain things to test against the material a user actually intends to make.

A detector with a narrow job

Treblo also released Treblo Classifier under the AGPL-3.0 license. The company reports a false-positive rate below one in 10,000 in its evaluations. The repository is explicit about the boundary: this is not a general AI-music detector. It is trained to identify Treblo output, works best on higher-quality audio and may be less reliable after heavy modification. Support for other generators is a stated future direction, not a current capability.

The interesting bet is larger than free songs. Treblo is pairing a low-friction creation product with a model-specific provenance tool. Both sides now need independent testing.
