AI International Music Video Festival held its August screening — winners are not public yet

The AI International Music Video Festival held its August program at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory on 15 August. The afternoon combined selected music-video screenings with creator discussions, audience feedback and an awards reception alongside the organizer’s film and micro-drama festivals.

The official announcement says the combined programs drew from 250 international submissions. It does not say that all 250 were music videos, so that figure should not be treated as the size of the music-video competition alone.

As of 23 August, the organizer’s public site and virtual catalog do not include a winner list for the August music-video program. Earlier festival results exist online, but they belong to different dates and should not be carried forward as August winners.

A screening is useful; a durable record is better

Festivals in this new category are starting to create a circuit for directors who combine generated imagery with original music, performance and editing. To make that circuit legible, organizers need public selections, credits, tool disclosures and stable links after the room clears.
